Does any one on the forum keep Buckfasts?

I have heard that second generation buckfasts can be aggressive and as the hive is in the garden of a suburban house am concerned as to there suitability.

Any help or advice would be gratefully received.

I think you're right. Buckfasts are OK if you keep buying more to replace your olduns.

My view is that it is best to use local queens and rear your own.
