Hello there… just thought I'd say hi as I've
just signed up to the forums and I'm officially a new-bee when it comes to bee
keeping! I've just finished a beginners guide and am now waiting (impatiently
at times) for a swarm of bees to come my way and so I can officially call
myself an apiarist!

I’m pretty sure I’ll be using this site a lot
for my silly questions, so please be patient with me… I look forward to
chatting to you guys and hope you’ll be able to guide me in the right
direction.

Hey Moomin (cool name)

Welcome to the forum. There is loads of stuff for beginners on our information pages: http://honeybeekeeping.co……tarted.php is a good start.

Yeh sometimes it take patience when waiting for a nuc but if you set up a bait hive you could get a wild bunch.

Well I hope you do use this site a lot and find it very useful. I will be making some excellent changes this year to the website so stay tuned.

Remember, there is no silly questions, just answers wink

I will let you know right away! smile There was a 'will they, won't they' moment over the weekend about a swarm actually… I have a bait box set up in the back garden. I had five honey bees all at one time taking a look…. fingers crossed they'll remember my box if they do swarm! smile
