Hi – I'm a beekeeper from Niorfolk, UK and I'm house sitting for a friend in Brittany. I was wondering if there is anyone out there who wouldn't mind me paying them a visit for a couple of hours? Its my first year of beekeeping and I'm interested in finding out about making cosmetics and other products from the hives.

I'd also love to have a chat about bees as I'm still at the learning stage (I've just managed to harvest 9lb of honey this year! – must do better next year! )

Anyway – it would be lovely to meet with someone in the area and chat and if there was any chance of seeing some products and talking about any useful tips and advice I'd really appreciate it.

Hi Sally, welcome to Honey Beekeeping.

Well there is plenty of stuff that can be created from the hive. I will need to make a concerted effort to post lots of recipes and how tos on making various products. Just havent been finding the time recently.

However if you have any beekeeping questions then post them in the beginners forum or in the Apiary and I will do my best to answer them or one of the other members will.
